July 15, 2010 - Patrick Convey Memorial Fund

In July 2010, the Nova Scotia Rowing Association along with Patrick's family and friends set up the Patrick Convey Memorial Fund in recognition of his passion for rowing and to continue his legacy of encouraging young rowers to achieve excellence. This fund, in conjunction with Patrick's family and Nova Scotia Rowing, is administered by the National Sport Trust Fund - Nova Scotia Chapter. Each year a deserving athlete is awarded a sport scholarship in Patrick's memory to support them with their rowing endeavors.

July 12, 2010 - ERA Results

Brishen Hagan Deschamps, from the Mic Mac Rowing Club, represented Nova Scotia at the QIRC Camp last week in Montreal, QC. The camp was geared toward eligible athletes for the 2013 Canada Summer Games, which will be held in Sherbrook, QC. Athletes from Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland were represented. At the conclusion of the Camp athletes participated in the ERA Regatta held on the Olympic Basin. Brishen placed 2nd in the QIRC Men's 1x heat and placed 5th in the final.
